The Associated Press has contacted this artist’s lawyers about the use of an image taken by an AP photographer.  They would like to be paid for the use of the image.  The artist says no, this is fair use.

Barack Obama by Associated  Press photographer Manny Garcia at the National Press Club in Washington. Fairey has acknowledged, the poster is based on the AP photograph.

Road signs were hacked in Austin, Texas so instead of warning motorists of construction in the area it said this:

In actuality, there were many signs hacked in different parts of the United States.  Other signs read:  “DAILY LANE CLOSURES DUE TO ZOMBIES.” “RAPTORS AHEAD — CAUTION.” “NAZI ZOMBIES! RUN!!!” and “ZOMBIES IN AREA! RUN.”
