Poetry anthology – Computer Careers
Instructions for poetry anthology below. Pay special attention to the sections you have to add to your document.
Extra credit opportunity!
For the next week you can earn extra credit by turning in one of the following:
- A movie rewards code from any Disney movie, look inside DVD boxes (1 point each)
- A ticket stub from any Disney movie (1 point each)
- You can get a maximum of 8 points this way.
Why does Mr. Esparza want these codes/stubs?
I have a teacher friend that uses them to get items for her Kindergarten classroom. With the stubs and codes she gets gift items and classroom items for her students. YOU will be helping her with her classroom and getting some extra credit at the same time. It’s enough to give you warm fuzzies for a whole day.
The last day to turn in any item for this extra credit is 10/30/09

Create a pumpkin! – Web Design Class
For this assignment you will follow the steps given in this web site. You will be creating a jack-o-lantern face on a picture of a pumpkin. When you finish the tutorial submit your pumpkin as lastname_pumpkin1.jpg at ustudy.org.
http://www.adobetutorialz.com/articles/3011/1/Happy-Halloween-Ideas
You will then create your very own design on a second pumpkin image. Be creative with your pumpkin design, it must be different than the tutorial. You can make animals, cars, or mickey mouse. No phrases, only pictures! View the links below for some inspiration:

When you finish the second image submit it at ustudy.org and call it lastname_pumpkin2.jpg
**NOTE: you are turning in 2 images, one just like the tutorial and a second with your own design on it. These are samples from last year.
Check out what this guy does with Photoshop
It’s not only Photoshop, this animator makes a DVD each year to project on his window on Halloween night. Check it out:
